patented and very ROBUST HeatSurround™ technology uses a low-watt density, long life, thick-film element molecularly bonded to the outside walls of an all stainless steel heating chamber—the element never touches the water! Paradigm’s element, which has exponentially more surface area than wire-type elements, runs much cooler than the short life wire elements, but heat equal amounts of water much faster.
